In 1985 Billy purchased Hugo Livestock Auction. Since that time he has owned and operated Idabel Livestock, Tulsa Stockyards & Southern Oklahoma. Livestock in Ada, Oklahoma.

Billy believes S/E Oklahoma and the counties just south of the red river in Texas make up one of the largest beef production areas in the USA.

He is working deligently to meet the cattle selling and buying needs of ranchers in the area. He has served as President & Chairman of the Board of the Livestock Marketing Association and thinks that we should all get involved in working with organizations that might help the cattle business.

Durant Stockyards is located on Old Hwy 69 & 75. We have 30 acres behind the market, pens & facilities that can accomodate 3500 to 4000 head of cattle. Durant Stockyards insists on providing clean pens for your cattle and water troughs that are cleaned weekly. When the temparature increases we have water sprinker systems to keep your cattle cool.
