CATTLE SALES THURSDAYS AT 11 AM...
A well needed 3 to 6 inch rain in the area slowed the run with cattle receipts Thursday Sept. 2nd 909 cattle. 1000 sheep and goats sold on Sat Aug 28th. Last week receipts were 1600 cattle. Calves and yearlings sold mostly steady to weaker with the plainer and fleshier kind being several dollars off. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00 to 5.00 weaker. Choice quality pairs and bred cows sold in good demand. Special calf and yearling sale Thurs. Sept. 9th.
